Quickish update

Stuff! It's been awhile.

Work is fucking crazy. We open in a week and a half, FINALLY. It's balls to the wall for the foreseeable future.

Williston was fine. Actually no, Williston was dead boring, but I made it there and back with no problems and the DM who conscripted me wrote all kinds of nice things about me to his boss and my boss and her boss, so wheeee!

I am SO VERY behind with the reading of the books. I finished the 'Riyira Revelations' fantasty trilogy and am most of the way through 'The Spirit of Vatican II' (which is actually super interesting). I requested a bunch of books from the library but until they show up I don't have any new fiction to work on so yesterday I read a little 'Shadow of the Hegemon' while I cooked dinner. All the other new books I have at home that are on the list are non-fiction: 'Game of Thrones & Philosophy', 'The Greatest Show on Earth', 'Evil in Modern Thought'. Blaaaah. My brain is too fried for that shit right now.
So yeah, there's no way I'm hitting 30 new books this year. I might not even hit 30 books INCLUDING re-reads! Yeesh. But it's nice to have a goal.

I haven't worked out in exactly a month as of today (except for 3 taekwondo classes spread out over that time). I know this because my running shoes were still in my trunk covered in mud from Dirty Girl. o_O I finally brought them inside and will be cleaning them tonight.

This coming Sunday marks 365 days of matrimony! We are going to Bayfield on Saturday and staying in a B&B until Monday. We are taking a boat tour around the Apostle Islands, going berry picking, and have a reservation at a nice restaurant for Sunday night. (I have the whole trip planned out nicely so that we are not stopping for ANY fast food the whole time!) We have Monday off and we're coming back that afternoon. Joyyyyyy. Hopefully I will remember to take pictures.

I think that's all for now.
Katara is still cute.

Oh! Jon got LASIK! It's awesome. ~*~Modern technology~*~, amirite?

Peace.
