2 steps forward, 1 step back
So despite the fact that we recently put $1700 into the car (fuse connection, spark plugs, brake pads, etc), the battery light came on the other night, it had trouble starting yesterday, and it wouldn't start at all this morning. We finally got it going with the aid of a charger thinger, but all the lights were flashing and flipping out and it's not safe to drive. So I'm waiting for my co-worker to come pick me up.
I can't believe this. We do not have this kind of money. We were already on a VERY tight budget to afford the wedding...I honestly don't know what we're going to do now. We have emergency savings, of course, but this still throws us completely off in terms of saving extra. I am exceptionally pleased to be in the new house but moving has sucked a lot of money from our pockets, you know?
Just a frustrating situation. More than anything it upsets me because I just want to be able to trust our car...and after spending so much money on a complete tune-up, I thought we could! Fuck. Ass. Balls.
