I don't miss 'cause I'm focused

Yesterday I went to Stace’s house and we discussed the intern project some more. It seems to be coming down to a choice between Nina Variations (very artsy, based on Chekov’s The Seagull) and Clarvoe’s ‘Lets Play Two’, which is essentially about a man and a woman going on a roadtrip. I’m going to be very happy whichever one we choose, we’re letting our director read them both now and going to let him weigh in.

In the evening I went and saw Bloomsburg U’s Wit. It was a very sad play about an English professor with cancer. Elizabeth did a wonderful job. I remember that the movie version was shown in AP english in High School. Very sobering. We all headed out to RoseMarie’s afterward. The director was very angry the door to heaven hadn’t opened at the end (technical mishap)

Woke up at 9 this morning, had a brownie for breakfast, and headed to rehearsal. I shouldn’t have been called, I warmed up for 10 minutes, then learned a negligible change in the Tango that I have to do, then headed back to my apartment.  Cleaned a bit, read a bit, made lunch… heated lunch up. Then wrote out my to-do list for then rest of the week. It’s very tight bc I’m finishing the Website for Stanley Clock Works by Sunday night.

Jarret called while I was home on lunch and offered a spot to live at his place in Astoria. $500 a month with roomate (though I know both he and chris are paying 1000 a month to have their own rooms. Its a really nice area, and a beautiful apartment, but Chris’ll probably be moving out in July, and I wasn’t going to try to make that jump till September. Still, something to think about, especially Jarret says he can get me a place with his temp agency.

Rehearsal this afternoon went well, Clock Website guy cancelled our meeting so I got some work done on it anyway and I’ll meet with him tomorrow. Now I just have to get ONE of my laptops to work and I will be in business.
