Ahoy, mateys.

Today is a very good day. It is the first day I've been able to keep a meal inside of me since Wednesday. If I owned a scale I would now disgust you with the amount of weight I lost. I don't have a couch, so you can bet your ass I don't own a scale. I gotta get on that couch situation. The best part of my plague-like symptoms was having to performing in not ONE but TWO shows on Thursday. I prayed for a swift death. Trying to be a bouncy happy twelve year old while trying not to hurl everywhere: priceless. Luckily they were small houses, not like this weekend which was SOLD OUT. I love people. Anyway I had a lot of time for wallowing in self pity and watching Christmas specials from my youth. Garfield Christmas, hollah back. Really, there's something dreadfully scary about being tremendously sick when you're on your own. I mean, I know the people at BTE have my back, and they're lovely, but what if I had passed out in my apartment or something? I was very emotional about this situation. Also, no health insurance - balls.
The visceral experience of eating food again is tremendous. I had a bagel from the glorious bagel place down the block from me piled with cream cheese... I'm reliving it right now. Then I went to the library, returned some books, got some books, and borrowed a cd? New. I've been reading Shakespeare a lot, and for some reason I feel silly listening to gangsta rap and perusing the Bard's work, so I picked up something a little more appropriate.
I think I'll save my heart wrenching Christmas story for the next post, till then "The power is yours!"

Also, to preserve from a long ago saved draft:

"Well, Hello there!
I just started my 2nd week at Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble (bte.org), and I have to say that today was the first day I felt at home - mostly because it was decided that my character is a loser. Home sweet loser home.
Also I started brewing my Christmas Presents last night. M. Seeley get pumped."

btw... the brewing was successfull...
