(no subject)
i'm bored, and although nothing really exciting has occurred, i feel that i should update.
it's a few hours shy of being day 34 since benjamin has left on the road... and it's a few hours shy of being 14 days since i've seen him last (and remember, that was only for 3 hours!). the kids and i miss him, and he misses us terribly. the good news is that he already talked to his boss, and he WILL be coming home after this store, which means about tuesday or wednesday. THANK GOODNESS!
raven has her 3 year well-child check-up tomorrow. i'm really not looking forward to it, as i'm going to have to bring along another kid in addition to my own. i completely forgot about the appointment until today... and i'm "baby"sitting tina's daughter, danielle. i've had her since 8:30a this morning, and she'll be here until 5:00p tomorrow night (or so). she's 7ish, and she's listened well to me thus far so i'm hoping that it won't be too bad. i don't think raven has to get shots so hopefully we can be in and out of there. i also have to remember to get a copy of apollo's well-child check-up, as well as schedule a dentist appointment. he will register for preschool on tuesday. i'm excited, and he is, too!
i'm going with the kids, my parents, my grandparents, and whoever else to adventureland on sunday. my grandparents work there during the summer so they're getting us in half-price or something like that. it should be fun... i hope.
then the following weekend, benjamin and i are going to okoboji with his parents. i hope it's as fun as last year... there was lots of boating, drinking, shopping, and dart playing. it was a blast!
uh... orion is getting big. he can crawl up onto anything he wants. and he's starting to get playful. the little shit was biting on my toes the other night when i was laying in bed.
i cut my hair last week, and tina dyed it brown. it's pretty cute. except for i got the lady that i really don't like at the salon, and she always goes a little bit too far. oh, well. it shouldn't take long to grow out enough.
oh! remember that bedding i showed you that i wanted to get for the kids? i bought it. like two days after i posted about it, it went on sale so it was HALF price! mom put it on her credit card because that was a steal. so for both comforters and sheet sets, it was like $106 and some change. now i'm super excited to go mattress shopping!
well, i'm going to get back to cleaning. i really want this house to be in order before class starts again... and that only gives me like 10 days... which after taking off the days, i know i'm going to be gone, is like 6 days in actuality. and i'm a lazy ass so i have everything working against me. *lol*
