Anecdote & Bad Internet
Anecdote:
Tuesday I was sitting at my desk and I swallowed, no drink, just spit in my mouth. I hear an audible 'pop' and from then on, whenever I try to swallow, it feels like someone is stabbing me in the throat.
Doctor says I pulled a muscle in my throat. Common thing. I've never heard of it. He subscribes high doses of Ibuprofen to deal with the pain and tells me it will get better by Friday.
Today is my first day where it hasn't felt sore, however, while I was on the Ibuprofen I must've wrecked my voice trying to talk...I completely lost my voice by Friday. Slowly coming back now.
Our internet has been jacked up since a week ago Thursday. Goes really slow and sometimes stutters (like, stops loading). Can't do much but email and surf text heavy pages. No FTP, nothing with images, nothing with videos. We called last Sunday, emailed last Tuesday, and emailed Thursday. Questioning how long before I call again.
