Home Sweet Home!!
Thank goodness I'm finally back home! We had a divisional meeting in Dallas all week. One would think going on a little trip would be fun every once in a while...but not with our company! We started at 6:45 every morning and some nights we weren't done until 8:30 pm! It would be one thing if I actually thought that it was worthwhile, but everything we did we could have done in our own area. To top it all off, we are always on lock down every time we go out of town. Apparently people were going crazy in the glass elevators and the hot tub at the hotel once and now they don't let us out. It didn't help that every flight we had was delayed because of weather. I'm so glad to be home, but I really miss Gavin. He is at my Mom's house. She is going to bring him back to me tomorrow.
Funny story, my Mom said that Gavin found a new friend in their 14 year old Pug. She said that Gavin now copies everything that Mugsy does. If Mugsy shakes her head, Gavin shakes his head. If Mugsy pants, Gavin pants. If Mugsy is searching for dropped food when someone is eating, Gavin is right next to her. I think the time has come to be VERY careful what we do around Gavin or we could end up very embarrassing moments in public!
