In answer to my own question - I helped my mom clean the garage. My goodness, that was disgusting. First of all, before I tell any part of this story, you should know we keep four of our cats downstairs in the garage (we sort of consider the garage our basement). Anyway, I let the cats into the house, the dogs stayed outside, and we opened the garage. I cleaned up the kitty litter, mom cleaned up random nastiness, and we threw a lot of stuff away. And we still have a TON more to throw out!! How sad. Mom bleached the floor, and we cleaned up stuff (leaves) that were dirtying the driveway. It was quite exciting. Not. After that, we got out our patio furniture. I got to clean it off; she set it up. So now our driveway and patio look nice, our garage is clean, and the smell of bleach seeped from the garage into the rest of the house.
I finally untangled all of that yarn! I feel so much better now. I've gotten quite far on that new scarf today, too.
I can't stop watching Moonstruck! It's so good. Ahh, one of Cher's better movies. Nicholas Cage looks terrible in it, which for some strange reason I find hilarious.
I get to visit Western and Central this week. Crazy.
