It's been a pretty busy weekend overall here - between work, a birthday party for my roommate and seventeen episodes of Oofuri in less than twenty-four hours, I've been a bit occupied.
That last bit is true - I did watch that many episodes of Oofuri within the span of twenty-four hours. Actually, I technically only watched sixteen, as I had already seen episode two subbed earlier this week, but it's still a bit ridiculous, isn't it? I'm eagerly awaiting episode eighteen as I type this - it ought to be out soon, right? (I need my Tajima fix, damnit!)
I should probably note that Tajima is easily the shortest one on the team and he claims he can hit anything. Does that remind you of anyone?
Speaking of that someone, I was doing some research for Project Pac-10, and I came across
this article from 2004, which announced the all-conference team and the players of the year. Here's what you need to know. On the all-conference team, I put the names I recognized in bold text. Obviously, we know who Jed Lowrie and Tim Lincecum are, don't we?

(2) - Two-time All-Conference selection.
(3) - Three-time All-Conference selection.
Honorable mentions include Arizona Fall League stars Sam Fuld and Jeff Larish, amongst others. (I only know Urquidez from an earlier article I found in which he struck out twelve in a game but couldn't get Jacoby out. He's currently in the Diamondbacks farm system.)
I would also like to point out that Yankees pitcher Ian Kennedy is a Trojan. It'll be fun to see him play against Dustin, Jacoby and Jed, won't it? I can almost hear them discussing the idea in my head - Dustin would make some sort of
condom joke, and then Jed would crack up and Jacoby would give them a look that said something along the lines of, "You guys are sick!" but he'd put up with it for the time being.
I love this same-conference stuff way too much. It's almost a fandom in its own right now.
