Halfway there...
Two down, two to go! I took my anthropology exam yesterday (yes, this school gives exams on Sundays! Amazing, no?) and presented some information about George Scovell today. Tomorrow morning is my sociology exam ( you will note that I considered Josh Beckett to be more important than my sociology midterm), and after that I have a three-day layoff. On Saturday I take my Japanese exam in the morning and finally go home.
Yesterday my parents met Carlton Fisk for me, but I can't see that signed ball until Saturday. Argh. My dad promised to e-mail me the photo they took of him, so I'll post that here soon enough. According to my dad, it's a pretty good picture. I can't wait to see it!
Despite my somewhat heavy exam schedule, I've been in a rather good mood today for two reasons. My first is that Mary Poppins is on television tonight - that's my guilty pleasure film - and my second is that I'm on total Pedroia overload right now. If you didn't know, OICF has a delightful advent calendar, and today was Pedroia Day. Needless to say, this put me on a total high - a disturbing amount of my life seems to revolve around him (remind me to post pictures of my dorm room sometime - my walls are covered with pictures of the Sox, and over three quarters of those pictures are of Pedroia). Trust me, it can't be missed!
Other than that, there's nothing going on here. Well, maybe except this - do I detect an obscure Dudley Moore reference in the Dugout today? Yes? No? Am I reading too far into this?
(For those who don't get it, that was a fan nickname that stuck with Dud for pretty much his whole career.)
