In which I seem all over the place...

I've turned into a workaholic over the past few days. I'm reading voraciously and getting really, really ahead on things so I can focus entirely on my thesis. I like that I'm finally becoming competent, but I know I'm going to manage to run myself into the ground, and that's not good. I need to figure out how to balance it out.

Writing about the Orioles is actually getting really enjoyable - I think I've got a better team on my hands here than I thought I would when I took 'em. ESPN is currently asking "Who is Jake Fox?" on TV, even. Well, ESPN, if you're curious, he's a backup catcher/first baseman. So there you go. Hey, you asked.

JED IS OFFICIALLY ON THE ROSTER. I AM HAPPY TO SEE HIS NAME ON A ROSTER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ABOUT TWO YEARS. IT GIVES ME HOPE. Seriously, it does. His resilience legitimately reminds me that I can hang in there too, and that's more than anyone could ever ask for from their favorite baseball player. But I'll always be too shy to tell him this.

Any suggestions about how to boost my confidence, by the way? I'm kind of struggling in that department lately.

baseball: i am obsessed with jed lowrie, baseball: jed lowrie, life: liking myself, writing: g9/aerys, school: homework
