If you're from the tristate area (New Jersey, New York and Connecticut), you've probably seen this commercial during daytime television. Which is totally what Jon Niese has been watching, poor baby. I hope he likes

Tony C was the first thing I thought of when I saw David get hit. Just ... agh. I thought for sure he was unconscious; it's a relief that he wasn't, but apparently his eyes were "rolling back in his head". Never, ever want to see that ... I really hope he's okay, and that he doesn't rush back (because he will try to, and the Mets will probably let him, because they are the Mets. SIGH.)
Kinsler's fine, though. He never even left the game; I think it got him more on the shoulder than square on the helmet. And he hit a home run today, which was nice to see even if it was against Tazawa.
No update on Kuroda, except that the first thing he asked the trainer was if the ball that bounced off his head was caught...

That's just absolutely terrifying...Tony C was on my mind, too. I was so concerned because it just looked terrible...I was amazed he was able to walk off the field under his own power. (They put him on the 15-day DL, at least, but I don't trust this medical staff because of what they did to Ryan Church...)
So glad Kinsler bounced back well! I honestly like him a lot...it was nice to see that he's okay.
He did? Oh, God, I think I love him now. That's just...kind of adorable. And I've got my fingers crossed for him...
