In all seriousness, best wishes to all three of the people who were hit in the head yesterday (Wright, Kuroda and Kinsler). A concussion is a serious injury, and hopefully all three will be able to bounce back and be healthy. Nobody deserves to suffer the same fate as poor Tony Conigliaro.
Conigliaro's injury, which eventually prematurely ended his career, is the reason the ear flap was added to batting helmets. This ear flap might just have saved David Wright's life yesterday.
