I wore my Pedroia shirt today and he hit a home run. I guess I should wear it every day from now on.

So I'm two for three on my jersey/shirt-wearing lately. A few weeks ago, I wore my Tek jersey, and that night he called Jon Lester's no-hitter. And today I wore my Pedroia shirt, and he homered in Cincinnati (oh, Josh, nice shutout - you looked like a staff ace today!). Of course, yesterday I wore my Papelbon jersey, and we all know what happened ( Read more... )

I'm so jealous--I didn't get to watch any of any baseball games today. I listened to about half an hour of the Sox game on the radio, but that was it. Unfortunately, that projects to be the next week... at least until Friday (studying, finals, and then I'm seeing Bill James give a lecture! -dies of excitement-).

Dude, Bill James? Are you serious? That's so amazing! (...Corbin says he's jealous. Even though he's, uhm, not real.)

Good luck with finals, too! It'll be so nice to be done soon...

YES. Bill James. And Rob Neyer. At the Museum of Science. See? And it overlaps with this exhibit, too! (Unfortunately, I'm missing this...)

That is just fantastic. And the Baseball as America exhibit! I remember when it was at the Museum of Natural History in New York. It's a nice preview of the wonders of Cooperstown, from what I've read...(Awww, Bill Lee! He's amazing...)

I know! I want to go to Cooperstown so badly. I think I'll try and go this summer.

And there are a whole lot of other ones I want to see, too... I love MoS.

It's definitely worth the trip - it's just fantastic. I'm going to try to go again soon (there's a new ball on the no-hitter wall that I want to see, after all!).

I really wish I lived in New England now, if only for that. It just all sounds so fantastic...

I absolutely love MoS. It's honestly the best place for anyone between the ages of, 3 and 20 in Boston. Aside from Fenway, that is (but it's cheaper than Fenway). (Okay, so technically, it's in Cambridge... but hey.)

It almost sounds like it's like the Franklin Institute in Philly, only with a lot more awesome Red Sox exhibits and whatnot...the next time I'm in Boston (which hopefully will be somewhat soon), I'll have to check it out!

It's so great. They don't usually have that many Sox stuff (at least, so far as I know), but their sciencey stuff is great. I had my Bat Mitzvah party there, actually, because I loved it so much. Heh.

I almost wonder if Chris Carter knows about this place. Because he'd probably love it. (And honestly, Jed would very willingly go with him and play with everything.)

They have stuff about everything--biology, geology, math and physics, technology... they actually have a permanent exhibit called "Mathematica," so Sammy'd probably love it too, for that matter.

...I smell a field trip. Or at least something really fun for them to get together and do during the off-season. Because they totally would. (...I am strangely tempted to write this, actually...)

They totally would, hahaha. (You should! I bet it'd be hilarious.)

I've been in a bit of a writing slump lately (almost two months, nuuu!), so I should force myself to do something...

(Eeee, it's so cute!)

Last day of school? Friday. I am going to actually write something over the summer. I haven't written anything (fictional and for fun, that is) in a long, long time.

(I <3 it. The picture just kills me. Although I do realize, looking at it near my Sammy one, that I'm pretty sure I used the same exact texture in both... oops. Heh.)

You get out Friday? Ooh, wonderful! Congratulations! And hooray for writing! It'll be so nice to finally have time...

(They just look so cute there! ...Frankly, it still looks good, which is what matters in the long run!)
