I'm a survivor, apparently

Today an EMT thought I was dying.

I wasn't, actually. I've reenacted many times before, and I wasn't even wearing the corset today - I was perfectly fine. Yes, I was sweating, and therefore I had to wipe my forehead a lot. And the reason I may have seemed a bit dizzy? I didn't have a real lunch. I drank plenty of water and made sure to limit my ( Read more... )

Ahh gotta love it when they overreact on stuff just out of boredom. Good times, good times.

Hooray! I'll be at work during that game and the Reds game. I gotta have my walkman radio ready for the game because I know I'll be unable to check the score tomorrow if it'll be busy though it's looking like thunderstorms...so that could be good. Fuck yeah weather dependent job + 9am shift beginning. Hopefully the Red Sox will win. Shit, that reminds me I should probably do a pregame entry before I sleep.

My favoritest Trot and Pedro moment that I can recall them catching on the cameras was in Yankee Stadium when Trot was following Pedro and then paused and sorta stuck out his arm kinda like a "Good game, man" kinda thing and then they paused for a second and suddenly hugged and it was all warm and happy and then as they pulled apart, Pedro affectionately rubbed his head. It was cute. There was also another one from 03 same place where Trot sorta leaned in and whispered something to Pedro as Pedro sat on the bench and Trot was sorta standing. It was kinda weird. I...I am very weird.

It was just..."Ooh, that girl is wearing a long-sleeved Victorian dress! She will probably pass out! Let's do something so we don't have to sit here!" The more I look back on it, the funnier it was...they even tried to walk me to my car!

We got a huge amount of thunderstorms here earlier, so it's definitely possible! It was just crazy...I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed for everything to go okay, though! (And I wouldn't mind if it rained for a bit in Cincy, too, if only to see Manny go on the tarp or something.)

...those are both really cute, actually! Especially the first one! I really hope I see something sweet like that when Trot starts working up here...I think Pedro may have a start tomorrow, too, so if Trot is called up for the doubleheader...
