That week was longer than I thought it would be!

I spent another frustrating day without a job. I still haven't heard back from those people yet, but it is supposed to take them a few weeks, so I won't get impatient or anything. Besides, I did an insane amount of work around the house this week, running a bunch of errands and whatnot, so I definitely kept busy.

I had two of my friends over ( Read more... )

...okay, that's kind of amazing. I love how he's reading that 'Pitching with the Papelbons' book, too! (My mom randomly found that in a Barnes and Noble and bought it for me. The actual photographs in it are hilarious.)

Tek just looks creepy....like....WTF. And also, WTF is with our outfielders and vertigo? JD Drew was scratched because of a case of the vertigo meanwhile Coco Crisp had a case of it early in the season. STOP VERTIGO-ING!! :P

I'm also dorky enough to be thinking as Manny is up to bat "I wonder what kind of cake he had for his birthday and if tehre were any bitchfights for the final piece?" Or people sharing cake and being all homoerotic about it! Dammit now I have the cake song stuck in my head!

Yeah, the vertigo thing is just...out of the blue. I thought most cases of vertigo occurred when people were high up above the ground...I'm confused.

...I really need to find that cake song. It's ridiculously catchy and it bothers me that I don't have it on my iPod yet!

Good luck with the job search, for srs. (If it falls through and a teleporter which is free and instantaneous is invented, you could come help me push buttons. After all, there are TWO in the front--waaaaaaaaay too difficult for me alone.)

Gah Mets. =.= That was kind of miserable to watch.

Thanks - I need it. I really want this one...(...that sounds much more fun. Besides, then we'd get to test the rides and shit!)

It made me sad. It looked really good at one point, and then...nuuuuu.

Any good luck I have, I shall send then. (That's true! Though the cars don't really get tested. Only the Haunted House. Which is EVEN BETTAR. Though it was kinda creepy in there by myself...ok, VERY VERY creepy.)

Me too. Up until the 8th it was a great game, and then it was like someone hit the implode button. Though we did have many lost chances before, too.

Yay, gracias! ...Mizutani, damnit! (I KIND OF LOVE THAT HOUSE NOW. But you did have Kenya, at least!)

I had some friends with me, too, and we all were just getting so depressed...

...ART ALIVE! LOOK, TAJIMA!

Seeing a person who's normally very serious suddenly start giggling hysterically and being silly is just so charming, isn't it?

this is EXACTLY how i feel about all the post-no-no stuff with jon lester. so many grins in interviews! so much actual laughter! i think it made me actively fall in love, rather than merely observing the love for him that my gf has. hee. laughing jonny lester. yes plz.

I love when people act like that - it makes them more human to me. It's nice to see that Lester isn't an android programmed or something...when he smiles, he seems like a real person.
