Catalina's flight is scheduled to land in an hour!!

I'm not sure if it's on time yet (and the internet is being surprisingly unhelpful in my search), but I'm headed out soon, regardless. So excited!!

Unfortunately, grad apps did not all get finished over the weekend, because I decided that going for a walk on the lovely, sunny day (and burning my chest) and going to see district 9 was a better expenditure of the day. They're almost done. *continues to stalk faculty*

I also spent an inordinate amount of time yesterday planning what to feed Catalina for her First Meal in Chile. I still remember my first meal in Chile, as do all of my friends who studied abroad here, and most of my friends who are working here. This will be her first meal on the continent, so it has to be something typically Chilean. Something delicious that will not hurt her stomach or make her cringe. Then it came to me: dulce de membrillo with quesillo (typical. delicious.), and a toasted marraqueta (french bread) with a cup of piping hot nescafe. And we'll figure out lunch later.

Gotta go or I'll be late--have a wonderful day, all!
