(no subject)
Snowing again. I love the snow, love it. I love the icy cold too. I hope classes are cancelled tommorow, alot. I have a stats exam, ugghh.
On a happy note I got my fieldwork placements today. I will be at Friendship corner on wednesdays from 1115 to 1245 with children that are most likely pre-k and kindergarden aged. I am also going to be at rockland psychiatric center on wednesdays from 630 to 8. This is a group of mostly men who have volunteered for research. I am so excited abotu both cites. I also know the people in my groups that I will be working with. I'm really excited because the Rockland rep allows us to see some information and to know what is going on with the patients. That is exciting.
I have to go and hunt metal for my sculpture project this week again. Im not exactly looking forward to it. My hands have been so sore from the heavy machinery and the metal and everything. I have invested in a wrist and thumb stabilizer. while i have a bit less movement it doesn't hinder the use of the machines and manipulating the metal so i feel like it is working out. Im not as sore when i wear the braces. I love the actual sculptuing but i hate the class if that makes any sense???
social psychology, i love the professor but some of the people in the class are just horribly annoying and are constantly intterupting the lectures. gah! i hate that...
