My weekend...and stuff.

So, Friday night movie marathon *kind of* happened...  There were some scheduling issues due to Harry Potter 7.2 or whatever it's being referred to as.  Eden and I started the movie marathon without Beth and she showed up later.  Due to babysitting issues we didn't get started till 10pm, and it was probably closer to 10:30 or maybe even 11 by the time we got the hard drive/laptop/tv connection squared away, grabbed a few snacks, and sat down to decide what to watch.  I showed Eden part of the Chubaw episode, then we started Crows ZERO.  A little after midnight Beth finally showed up and we had more snacks (onigiri for the win!) and finished up the movie.  After that, we watched some TFP2 and SMAPxSMAP with Shun appearances also...around 2, it was time for everyone to go home...the sleepover part of the plans changed also.  Here's the onigiri I made:

Saturday morning, Audrey woke me up at 8:15, I went back to sleep and then got up about an hour later.  By about 10:15 we were on our way to the beach for Olivia's (Audrey's cousin) 5th birthday party.  It was incredibly hot, and the mosquitoes were out in droves.  We left around 1 and headed home because we had company coming to visit.  Around 4 I left for Phil's and we headed to dinner not too long after I got there.  We went to our favorite sushi restaurant and decided to try something new.  We ordered sukiyaki and yosenabe (basically a seafood version of sukiyaki).  I liked them, but Phil said they weren't terrible but they weren't what he wanted, so he decided to order some sushi also.  After we left there we stopped at the Asian market near the sushi restaurant.  I got a bottle of Korean black raspberry wine that is still unopened in my fridge.  I also picked up a new set (5 pairs) of chopsticks...pornographic ones at that.  I bought them because they amuse me.  I also got chocolate mochi ice cream bonbons for dessert and a box of lychee flavored Pocky.  Neither of us really liked the lychee Pocky.  :/

Sunday night/Monday morning involved absolutely no sleep for me.  My brain just wouldn't turn off, so instead I watched the entire series "Vampire Host" (alternate title "Vampire Gigolo") it was a great supernatural comedy series, but the ending just sucked (pun intended).  I had to screencap this scene because it was just amusing.
