Things I can't wait to see!
Hey y'all! I was backtracking yesterday, and read EVERY blog post I've made since 2009 in hopes of finding a specific post about Snowqueens Icedragon in which someone (bunney? Soft (aka ratherbsailing)? Who?!) linked to someone else's LJ who hated her. Or something. I can't find it anywhere! Also, does anyone know what happened to Soft? Err, ratherbsailing? Did she change her name again or just call it quits?
Anyways, Seth and I are moving in just a few weeks. I'm not even lying, we'll be in Oregon by June 1st (and hopefully my mess of a house will be packed up too!) We're filling up our cars and leaving the rest, and just... driving. Starting anew. Starting fresh. Seeing the country and doing what everyone seems to think is impossible, stupid, and unnecessary (why, the UP is just perfect! Why would anyone ever want to leave?)
I've begun listing things that I'm excited to see, and I thought I'd share what I'm finding here. I have so many things that I could post about that have gone NOWHERE cause I forgot how much I've used this blog over the years. I documented the most ridiculous and painful times of my life on here, so it's time to get on with the happy! Tell me of some blogs I should follow, and I'm on it!
1. A Potlatch tree farm of poplars, along the I-84 roadside in Umatila, Oregon.
2. Japanese Garden, Portland, Oregon.
