Liza didn't know what to do in that moment. On one hand, she just wanted time to stand still. This was... wonderful. But, on the other hand, she was at work. Making out with her boss.
Who wasn't actually her boss, anymore.
And her new boss was watching. Fuming.
"Liza?"
Say something, her brain prodded, but Liza could only give Charles a blank stare.
"I should go," Charles managed, sounding awfully flustered.
"I, uh," Liza started, suddenly feeling guilty for making him feel uncomfortable. "Please don't," she got out, grabbing his hand as Charles turned.
This was a bad idea.
