"Clover!" Sofia called, walking an odd path through the garden. They had been playing hide and seek, but she wasn't having much luck finding the rabbit. She'd checked under the rosebushes, over by the berry patch, and even in the knothole of the large tree where she knew Clover liked to store carrots for an afternoon snack.
"Clover?" she called again.
"Um... up here," she heard in a timid, almost embarrassed tone. Twisting around, she looked up and caught sight of her animal friend hanging upside down from a tree branch, snare around his legs.
"This doesn't count," Clover warned.
