20 Tin Man icons
for Round 01 at 20muses
This 20in20 was far different from what I'm used to doing, and here's hoping I did it right *fingers crossed* But, long story short too late, this one scared me. A lot. And losing the Internet and Photobucket not playing along made me even more anxious...

[inspired by Louise LeBourgeois ; water, feelings, blue ; the colors are blues and watery, so I went with caps that were already blue and/or featured water]
[inspired by Fran Williams ; strokes, emotional, sorrow ; the samples are meant to invoke emotion, so I decided to go with caps from very emotional scenes, and I added some vertical-stripe textures, to emulate the artwork]
[inspired by Alonsa Guevara ; colorful, nature, magical, women ; fantasy and magic are pretty much the basis of Oz, not to mention strong women, so I went with the bright colors and women, with a little magic doorway on the side]
[inspired by SIT ; dark, black&white, negative space ; the description mentions death, degeneration and decay, and the Zone has already done that, but I added the black&white to bring out the darker side of it]
[inspired by Richard Whadcock ; dark, contrast, chiaroscuro ; all the examples have shadows and a glow, and thanks to the horrific lighting, everything in the series is in shadow]
