Peggy was staring at the campfire, ignoring the chill in the air. She'd relieved Ramirez half an hour before, and someone - possibly Pinky - was snoring loud enough that they just might get caught before the mission even got underway.
Glancing behind her, Peggy found a small pinecone and chucked it in the direction of the noise. A moment later, she heard a thump and a grunt, and the snoring stopped. Fighting a smile, she winced at a sharp pain in her ankle and glanced down.
"I saw that," she heard Dugan whisper.
"You'll get one next," she replied.
