The Las Vegas Crime Lab was fairly quiet for a Tuesday night. The lab techs on duty, that night, were on their version of a lunch break -- though, could it really be called lunch at one o'clock? -- and aside from a few officers wandering the hallways of the attached police station, the peace was welcome.
Especially following the morning's events, at one of the campgrounds along Lake Mead.
One of these days, college students would comprehend that alcohol, a campfire, and swimming in clearly-marked NO SWIMMING areas was a bad combination.
Thankfully, everyone got home still breathing.
