In the Clinic, Sunday Afternoon

After the girls leave, Han settles in with the paper and pen. He tunes the bedside radio to catch the rebroadcast of last night's pirate and drops his head back to the pillow with eyes shut. His boy is going to be so upset.

He takes pen in hand and starts.

Jessica enters the clinic carrying a thermos of warm tea.

"Han? Hello there...I am sorry to bother you. Its just that I heard the radio...thought you might be here. How are you feeling?"

"Hey Jessica." Han has a smile for her. "No bother at all. I'm a little sore, but okay. Did you come through all right?"

"Hiya!" says Jessica with a most cheerful wave. "Me, oh yes I am fine dear. I mean...the ordeal with the ill-mannered snowmen did sound quite unpleasant, from what I heard on the radio at least." Jessica holds out the thermos of coffee. "This is for you dear, I don't know, I thought it might make you feel better. Its tea..I know soup is usually more appopriate, but I make terrible soup..." Jessica laughs a bit.

"Tea's great. Thanks. Glad you stayed inside. What a weekend. Not as bad as Zombie Weekend, though. That was really awful." He gives a wry grin. "I didn't end up injured from it though. It was just revolting."

"Zombies most often are dear" says Jessica with a little laugh.

"All part of the educational experience of Fandom High," Han chuckles.

Jessica looks up, smiles, and pats him lightly on the shoulder. "I should be going. You should get some rest." She gives a short wave, walks across the room, stands in the entrance and turns around. "I'll try to stop by tomorrow if I can."
