Billy Hugged himself tighter, letting his gloved hands absorb the warmth from his body. If there was one thing he hated about winters in Madtown, was there was absolutely no heat unless you lit a fire, which was suicide here. Not that Billy couldn't fend for himself.

Billy knew who was dangerous and who wasn't nowadays. A few years back, he would have had to have been in long contact with a person before imprinting their strand of existence that pulled on the fabric of reality. Nowadays, though, all he had to be was within a mile of a person to know where they were and what they had done in life. It wore on him often, but he got used to it fairly quickly.

It surprised him at that point then, to find a faintly familiar strand among the fabric. It was someone he'd met long ago, on the very night that everything in his life went to Hell, though she played a small part.

He peered in on her strand and saw everything about her. Her struggle. Her discovery of her power. Her joining of the Company and her subsequent betrayal. Where she was when Sylar destroyed the city and resulted in creating Madtown. And most recently, her current state of being.

Music resonated from the thread, a mournful tune that struck a chord in his own string. He followed the thread, letting the entrancing music fill him and resonate from him in true reality and not the stream from which he found it.

Eventually he caught up to the one whose string he'd been following. He smiled as he looked at her and sat nearby. "Hello again." he said cheerfully.
