The first thing he was aware of was the blinding pain arcing through his skull. Second came the nasuea and third was the observation that he was half-falling out of a bed that wasn't his.
Shifting away from the edge and pressing his face into the pillow, Lance took a few deep breaths, trying to keep from being sick.
Once that task had been managed, he started working on moving from the bed.
Easier said than fucking done.
