Tom had forgotten the meaning of the word 'decorum' the minute his transportation hit the Vegas strip. It was bad enough that Alex had arranged for him to have a chauffeured town car, but to have him arrive when the city lights were alight made the grown man feel like a kid being sent to a toy store.
This would have been more fun if his favorite lawyer was allowed to come with. Hell, even one of his favorite girls would do, but the new kid was good enough. Male bonding and all of that. Even still, they had business to attend to and there was a plane ticket waiting for them when it was complete. It didn't mean that Tom planned to be all work, it was only fair they make the most out of it.
Tom sat in the contemporary office where Linderman's assistant directed them to and waited for the woman he was supposed to meet.
For ten minutes.
It couldn't hurt to survey the actual casino floor, just in case something were to ever happen, and to see what he could make of the unused chips Alex gave him before he left for the airport. Maybe a drink to unwind wouldn't hurt things either.
