Open to Linderman Group

It was an odd, and nowadays, seemingly rare occurrence when he was called in by old clients. Most people usually decided to use different people for different things, and it was usually an asset to never use the same guy over and over, even if he was good. Usually such a thing would surprise Darius, but it came as no surprise when he received a phone call from a company that he'd discovered a lot about.

The Linderman Group had called him a few days before and arranged a business meeting between him and one of their lawyers. It sounded exactly like it had when he was previously contracted by them. He wondered why they had taken a sudden interest in him again. It was no secret to them that he could change forms. Hell, they flat-out told him they knew of it when they'd first started doing business. It made him suspicious, but he shrugged it off soon enough. It meant he didn't need to come up with some cover story if anything got fishy.

He took a flight from Odessa Central to Dallas, where he transferred to a nonstop flight to New York. He'd never been there for business, so it was an odd feeling to be walking in the business section of Manhattan. There were hundreds of people all dressed in dull grey, black, and blue uniforms, all buzzing about to do essentially the same thing. It felt odd to him when he finally arrived at Kirby Plaza to see the bit of abstract art, a dual spiral staircase suspended over a pool of water. It was weird to see it standing there.

He walked past the staircases and into the glass-encased building that housed several businesses, including the Linderman Group. After talking to a receptionist, he was allowed into the building, and was given a visitor's ID card, allowing him to get past the guard. He got onto the elevator and smiled a bit to himself. He focused for a moment on his body and felt the odd yet pleasurable feeling of his body and clothing shifting into the exact appearance of that woman.

He stepped out of the elevator and walked down the hall until he saw an office with the name of the man he was to see printed on it: Alexander Vorena. He/She knocked on the door and opened it slowly and timidly.

"Sir?" he/she addressed him. "Mr. Sutherland has arrived."
