She flipped open her cell phone, only to snap it shut right afterwards.
She was beginning to feel her nerves about doing this. She was not a nervous person, but... It had been too long since they'd last spoken.
It was her fault. Maybe both of their faults. They were both stubborn, but especially herself. She knew this. There was no denying it.
Snapping the phone open, she keyed in the number Nirand had given her. She lifted the phone to her ear and listened to the rings.
