Summary: Claude has gone to Central Park after his meeting with Sophie, then he goes "home," to the roof of the Deveaux building

Claude had rather mixed feelings when he arrived "home." His meeting with Peter had gone well, far better than he ever would have anticipated. Peter seemed like he had a fair grasp of things, and better yet, he could and would keep an eye on Claire. Sophie, on the other hand, had been, unfortunately, "bagged and tagged" by Claude's former associates. While it seemed she wasn't with the Company per say, the fact she knew Claude existed and they'd captured her didn't sit too well with Claude. Had they read her mind in addition to erasing it? Claude didn't know. He'd gone from joy at learning his one time adopted niece was alive and well to severe paranoia at the fact a potential ally was now among the marked. Was Primatech tracking him even now? If they knew Bennet had failed to kill him and that Claude was alive and well in Manhattan, why hadn't they grabbed him yet? How many more specials would come looking for Claude before this was all over?
Claude couldn't answer any of those questions, so he set about taking care of the pigeons, letting out those that wanted to fly and setting out food for them. The pigeons, one of the few things in this world that Claude could trust.
