It was a good thing Mohinder wanted to play tourist, since it meant their mealtimes tended to involve extremely Americanized food of the sort that tasted good enough that you didn't even care what it was probably doing to your arteries. Eden was of the opinion that you didn't live longer if you avoided the stuff, it just seemed longer.
It was what was for lunch today, and Eden found to her slight surprise that she'd gotten there before Mohinder for once. Well, a few minutes eating fried-cheese appetizers alone wouldn't kill her, and she didn't know anyone here enough to care whether they noticed the way she kept looking at the door.
