Most places were closed today, even in New York City, but Eden wouldn't be Eden if she didn't know where to find a decent party. Not one of the boring seasonal ones, either; the kind where you didn't even have to leave the building to get laid. Just as well, too. It was freaking cold up here.
It wasn't like it was the real reason she'd come up here for her time off, she reflected, as she slipped out of the club without looking back. But there weren't likely to be many sexy redheads where she was going, unless she'd seriously misjudged the guy, so might as well.
It wasn't far to Joey's building, but Eden was still shivering when she got there. Probably should have dressed warmer, but assuming he was home it wouldn't be a problem. She rang the bell.
