Leaning against the door of the ritzy apartment building, Lance pressed the buzzer insistently, aware of the look the doorman was shooting him and not giving a shit. He knew he was fucking home and if he didn't answer the fucking intercom, Lance was going to bring the building down on his head.
He straightened unsteadily, pressing the heel of his hand against his forehead, still the slightest bit drunk. For courage, not for escape this time, and that counted for something, right?
He pressed the buzzer again.
