Yes, it's terribly late and I have to get up and take the girls to school in 6½ hours, but I just finished reading the last month of posts here on LJ. Now that we I am up to speed, I have some non-post-specific comments for you all:
idahoswede: Every time I read your posts I am so happy to see what a good place you (still) are in with Ray. Travel and antiques and cooking - Go you!
kejn: don't mind me, just get back to your vacation. You need it!
lizardek: Take a vacation, woman! A real one. And hug that boy of yours, I hate what your community has had to deal with this week.
misschili: would you be up to a visit soon? We both need to improve our social lives and I plan on being (sort of) in the neighborhood in a week or so.
brief_therapy: You may not post often, but you always provide a ray of sunshine; some pure positivity in this messed-up world. Your post on your daughter's mothering skills truly moved me.
carrieb: How can your children be so precocious and naughty and look like such angels? I think it has been over a year since I started reading your blog and it still strikes me as the stuff of soap-operas. I hope your entire family gets a change of genre soon and I am glad that Sandy's only lasting effects for you and yours is on your sugar intake ;)
ladyvox: I have to say that you are juggling school, house-building, house-selling and day-to-day life very sensibly these days. Like idahoswede, you seem to have found a way to pace yourself. I wish I could say the same for your heart...
