This is a Korean dish call jab-che. It's made with yam noodle which is also known as glass noodle because it looks trasparent when cooked. It's only Korean food I can make with confidence:)


I like making food because it entails happy or funny memory. This noodle dish is my mum's favorite. I guess I can make this dish because I use to help my mum whenever she was making jab-che. Honestly,it requires a bit of love and lot of pre-planning.

Korean usually serve jab-che almost all the festive occasions cause it is very colourful. Usually in Seoul it's made with carrot, mushrooms, spinach, egg, onion and beef. In other regions, seafood or other vegetables are added.

The trick of cooking yam noodle is: 1.soak it in water. 2.boil 3.season it while it's hot.
