Badou sat back in his chair at the table, holding his cigarette between his lips as he reached up to tie his hair back with a small rubber band. He scratched at the red strands, taking one long drag from the stick of chemicals in his mouth. He glanced around the cafe with his one good eye, but there was still no sign of the younger man he was expecting. Resting his cigarette in the ashtray next to him, taking a sip of too sugary tea out a small, white ceramic cup. He drew random designs on the table disinterestedly with his pinky, continuing to smoke.
