It is as I predicted: Kurotsuchi has moved on to bigger and more gruesome experiments to conduct. When I brought up the human "guinea pigs," he gave me this furtive glance and shrugged it off. He wasn't lying when he had said he lost interest in his previous idea for an experiment, but that furtive glance told me all I needed to know: He got scolded. In the end, he was the one who got lectured instead of me for involving humans in ways a shinigami ought not to. It's illegal to conduct research on humans without strict oversight from Central 46.
Since Central 46 have all been annihilated for some time, the Captain-Commander has assumed their responsibilities until the Shinigami King can replace them. Needless to say, Captain-Commander Yamamato was very displeased with Captain Kurotsuchi's idea. I'm guessing he was intimidated into changing his mind... That's something only the Captain-Commander can do.
However, I did get permission to bring a few humans to the Shinigami world from Captain Ukitake (who's in charge of such things). This was before Kurotsuchi "lost interest," so the exclusive passes to Seireitei are still valid. Ukitake is soft-hearted and a pushover, but he's very reliable when need be.
You'll be restricted to the Thirteenth Division if you come to visit, and I only have enough passes for eight people. Those who already signed up - Willy, Sam, Wolfram, and Yuuri - have the first four reserved for them. If anyone else wishes to go, they better let me know. I might be able to squeeze in an extra two or three, if I'm lucky. Like I said... pushover.
