#75: Candy; sweets -- Lollipop, Angel Sanctuary, Setsuna x Sara

Notes: Pre-AS by several years, short ficlet, slightly (?) fluffy, possible incestuous implications involving children (hence the PG rating on something that's otherwise pretty G). I really liked this idea, though I'm not sure how much I like the way it actually turned out.
Sara stared mournfully at the ground. She'd only gotten to lick her lollipop twice before she had dropped it while hurrying to catch up with her brother (they'd been racing home, first through the city and then through dirt and rocks and trees). And now it was lying in the dirt, covered in dust and completely inedidble.
Setsuna had been at least two yards ahead when he realized his baby sister wasn't right behind him and turned back, following the dirt pathway toward their home until he found her again. "Sara?" he said, wondering what she'd been distracted by now. "Come on. We need to get going."
Sara merely looked at Setsuna, sniffed, and pointed to the ground. "I... I dropped it," she said.
Setsuna looked miffed and a little annoyed. "That's all?" he said, but as soon as heard the sadness in her voice, he sighed. "It's okay, Sara. You can have mine." He held out his lollipop to her. It was smaller than hers, but he'd only licked it a couple times, so he figured it was okay.
His sister looked up at him, eyes shining. "Really?" She wasn't sure if she was more excited by the prospect of a gift from Setsuna or the prospect of having candy again. She took it, grinning, but then her expression shifted.
Looking thoughtful, blonde curls bobbing as talked, Sara suggested, "Big brother, I have a better idea. Let's share it." She grinned again. Sharing's better, because this way they both get some and besides, sharing a lollipop is kind of like kissing in public.
"Yeah, whatever. Let's just get home before Mom gets mad at me for keeping you out again," Setsuna said, a little irritably. But he was grinning too.
