Roy loved strawberry jam; a secret joy that only Edward and few others knew about. It was a strange thing to get so excited about, but every time Edward bought some; Roy would eat it all in just one or two days.
Even when Roy had one of his worst days, eating the strawberry jam always cheered him up. That was how Edward had first gotten to talk to Roy alone on a date.
He had promised if Roy met him at a restaurant for breakfast, then he would buy him all the strawberry jam he wanted.
Basically, Edward had persuaded him after hearing Riza talking to Havoc about his weird taste for food. Ed never did figure out why Hawkeye of all people found out or was talking about it; but he was glad she had been.

It was like gravity that we were drawn together. I felt like I had been waiting just to kiss him that first time.
I was walking under the midsummer moon that illuminated my path and an unusual amount of roses were blooming in along the garden path. Everything seemed to be perfect just for us that night.
We met in an unpleasant way because I was in a foul mood that night, but he seemed happy enough not to care. It actually didn't seem to him at all; almost as if he was expecting it.
When I tried to sidestep him and continue my walk so I could just blame myself more because I thought of myself as selfish. That was when he stopped me by grabbing my arm and made me look up in anger.
Roy kissed me deeply and sent a chill down my spine; it was a wonderful, exhilarating chill.
That kiss was what had drawn me instantly to him. After that one kiss, I never felt like I could go without him for very long. Every time he kissed me; I could feel that chill and I loved it.
I lived for that feeling and I lived for every single one of those kisses. So far, I was up to one-hundred-one.
