“I think that’s Court.” Seth had met him once at a fundraiser Belinda where volunteered. “His grandparents owns the stables Javier where will be working. Do you want me to introduce you?”
“No.” Javier covered his head, overcome with what? Embarrassment? Fear? Was he worried about being too forward?
“He’s on a swim team. Their goal is getting to State.”
Court walked by their table. “Seth, right?”
Seth introduced the kids. “Javier used to swim for his school team.”
Court grinned. “High school?”
“Middle.”
“Too bad.”
Javier blushed and turned away.
