Summary: AU... where the Battle of Hogwarts ended almost the same way as it did with two exception - Tonks listened and didn't show up, thus - surviving, and Remus actually made it through.
Warnings: Spoilers for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (for whoever hasn't read it yet. ;) ). Rather dark. Character deaths implied.
Notes: It was a very hurtful thing that Tonks did do, choosing to not stay home, safe, for her son's sake, making sure he had at least one parent who'd live to raise him. But if she had made the other choice...
This is the second of a series of three AU lines that I'm working on, trying out how different scenarios will play out. She doesn't go, and Remus doesn't return; she doesn't go, and Remus survives; she does go, and only she survives. The last one will be coming shortly.
