I've been gathering these from the beggining of 2008, hence the userpic. Mostly shots of source code and computers in animes, but there's random stuff mixed in too.
Enjoy!
Onegai Twins Main character is a programmer. Looks like C++, some kind of image processing software or 3D engine maybe...
The anime starts off as a comedy but there is sooo much drama in the end... :/
School Days Lolz. I wonder if it was translators' joke or she really said 'slowpoke'.
Please, never watch this anime. It's just... D:
Serial Experiments Lain Even if you're not into anime, if you have even a slight interest in computers and technology -- you should watch this. Basically, it's about Internet, computers, how they influence us, and what could lie ahead. It might inspire you as it did me.
Did you know that in Japanese schools for girls they teach C? Well, now you do. Some girls don't like C, though, so they code in LISP while the teacher is not looking. Oh these teens with their rebelious spirits...
That gray UI looks very credible, because for example
fvwm is very similar in looks!
Assembly language. I wonder if it's made up or a real one.
Moonlighting I love this show. As I already mentioned, it brings up my childhood memories. We used to watch it together with dad.
Soviet passport, lol!
Sailor Moon Originally, I started watching Sailor Moon just for lulz. What I didn't expect, was that it's actually a very good anime o_o A little childish, ok, but still very good!
Ergo Proxy Ergo Proxy! OMG! This has got to be the most beautiful and stylish anime I've ever seen! Take a look at the absolutely gorgeous opening:

Despite being of sci-fi genre, it doesn't concentrate on the scientific stuff. No, it rather immerses the viewer into it's world, watching it is more of an experience. It's also phylsophical, it touches such questinons as the future of humankind, what rights a human has and what doesn't, who is God.
My favourite character is... Re-l Mayer. Apart from being simply beautiful, her character attracts me with great power.
Seven Samurai A Japanese classic. This is a perfect movie about seven fearless men.
Neon Genesis Evangelion Probably one of the most famous and debated over animes. As I already said in Orb's journal, if I'd want to show someone what is anime, I'd show them NGE. Mechas, monsters, mystery, bloodshed, dynamics, pshycological problems, human nature, eternal questions, drama, love, epic scale.
Omg, WinAPI headers? HTML! UML? LISP? Booting messages of some old Japanese almost-PC-clone-but-not-quite?
Hellsing Hellsing is one of my favourites. It's a very swell anime.
I simply looooove Victoria Seras! Alucard is fine too, though.
