an end is just a new beginning

Ok, so I'm living in Brewster at my grandpa's house while he's in Florida for 3 months. I'm dogsitting his huge Weimeraner, Max, and having a dog is certainly an adjustment. A LOT of responsibility, but I'm getting used to it. He's a good dog, yet I must say that this experience is only cementing in my head that I don't want children, and I'm definitely a cat person. I'm not really settled in there yet, mainly because I'm always out and about (working or with Greg), but I'm at least okay with staying alone there. That's a step in the right direction because I kinda want to live alone when I get an apartment in April. But apartments in Westchester are expensive, so, depending on the circumstances, I might try to find a 2 bedroom in Pleasantville or Mt.Kisco and try to tempt Jen P to come live with me. Although I REALLY love Pleasantville, its very expensive, and today when I had a meeting with Cathy she mentioned trying to get a small satellite office in Mount Kisco. OOH! Brainstorm - maybe I could find a really nice 2 bedroom in the village of Mt.Kisco and have Cathy chip into my rent and use the other bedroom as an office. Who knows? Its hard to think that far in advance.
