So tonight one of the most bizarre things ever happened. I went to get my pajamas out of my drawer and as I was digging around I found a pile of honey roasted peanuts amongst my clothing. Now the baffling story behind all this is that about a week ago my Mom had sent me a package of honey roasted peanuts. They had been on my desk in the room and I was slowly enjoying them. One day I noticed there seemed to be quite a few less peanuts in the bag, but nonetheless there were some still there- so I ate them. Then tonight I find honey roasted peanuts in my drawer?! What is this? The crazy thing is too that it doesn’t seem to be just some silly joke. No one seems to know what the deal is, and I finished the peanuts several weeks ago! It’s simply weird; Amy blames it on the mice. Oh yes that’s the other crazy thing about peach right now- we have a mice visitors. Amy and I were up late one night and saw one scurry across our floor- we tried to find it but failed- now there are mouse traps in our house and animosity about the possibility of finding a dead mouse in a trap on the floor. Phew so that is all the oddness of peach that I have to share at the moment. I finally got to do yoga today though- usually I have workstudy at the same time but I finally switched things around. Our yogi is awesome. He’s like a big super flexible string bean. It was a good time; we chanted and at the end he played his flute while we all were in relaxation mode. Also the most amazing band came here tonight- they are called the 35th parallel (http://www.35thparallel.com/) They play super awesome Armenian, Turkish festival songs and whatnot. They played a bunch of crazy cool instruments and I love them. Lastly, the good things of tomorrow- Wednesday brunch and pumpkin carving- woot. Ok that is the end of my stream of thoughts there- peace and love all.
