Weekend Update

Well Thursday night I stayed up very late..I planned on getting to bed a bit earlier and as I was returning from the bathroom about 1:30am I saw karis sitting outside her door studying...I opened my door halfway and we started talking...we talked about everything and it was a really great conversation...and then I finally said I better get to bed even though I didn't have classes on Friday...I walked in my room and looked at the clock..yea it was definetly 4am...and I wasn't even tired so I stayed up till about 5:30 watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

Friday I slept pretty late..showered and then rearranged my room with Lindsay...lol what an adventure...Lindsay was a huge help and my poor RA thinks I'm nuts because I asked her to help me make a sort of entertainment center by putting the extra desk on top of the extra bureau and put my tv and the space under the desk...it almost worked and looked really cool but the desk hung over the bureau...my RA Andi just laughed and shook her head at me..I love her...lol. Then Kirsten, Lindsay, and I walked to Star where these girls were kicking rocks in the parking lot and one hit me hard in the back..I turned around and was like "Ummm OW!" And one girl goes "Did she just called me an asshole?" And I was like "No, I said Ow." And when they saw us again in the store I could hear them mumbling it again...about me calling them an asshole..for some reason I snapped...I yelled what I had already told them twice and it was entirely unecessary of me...but I just had all this anger bottled up..and they got the brunt of it..but they were being wicked rude. *breathes deeply*

Then we watched Anne of Green gables..or half of it....then Lindsay slept over in my room since we had to get up early for retreat. The retreat was really amazing...the group of people who went were really awesome and I'm glad I got to just relax and focus on my faith for the weekend.

"From the day we arrived on the planet,
and blinking stepped into the sun,
there is more to see than can ever be seen,
more to do then can ever be done."

And for all you Red Sox fans...a little story Tom had in his away message..its hilarious! GO RED SOX!

'A little girl went to her second grade class one day and the teacher said, "I'm a Yankees fan. Who else is a Yankees fan?" The whole class raised their hands except the little girl, so the teacher asked her, "What's your favorite team?" When the little girl answered "the Red Sox", the teacher asked her why and the little girl answered, "My mom and dad are Red Sox fans, so I am a Red Sox fan." The teacher became annoyed and asked, "Well, if your dad was an idiot and your mom was an idiot, what would that make you?" The little girl replied, "that would make me a Yankees fan!"'
