My mother's convinced me to unearth the old AIM account, to try out one of those internet-talking-with-a-microphone things, since international calls cost money, and she likes to talk... a lot.
Two people from back in the day are still on the buddy list, one of whom I totally fancied in high school, but haven't seen in five years. And now that that's all a safe distance from now, in time and literal distance, it could have been interesting to see what she's up to. I mention that I thought she was totally hot, only as a compliment.
