Why can't it be the case that you're just friends with a guy without it meaning something more? I've been friends with a number of males during my lifetime, and with the exception of very few (maybe 2) they've wanted something more than that. All guys are hard-wired this way I suppose (no offense to the few out there who think and feel differently). It's unfortunate because there are some guys that I really get along with who'd I'd love being friends with, but things become complicated because for them it can potentially lead to something more, mainly sex of course. Meanwhile, sex is the farthest thing from my mind with most every guy I regularly spend time with.
