Backpacking in Europe...
I want to do this sooo badly. Brittany, Marks gf, just took off to Spain for 3 months for study abroad. I remember when I was talking about doing that about a year ago. I'm glad I didnt tho, I'd rather do the whole Eurotour than just Spain. Too bad money is an issue, because if it wasnt nothing would be stopping me. I was talking to Mark about this and how awesome it would be with us in Europe with a few other exclusive peeps...we would have to bring a video camera because this would be fuckin Eurotrip 2 status...hah... but yea it would be tons of fun.
I've been kinda looking into it as far as what I'd need to look into if this ever becomes reality.
First I need a passport... I should do that just because, just in case I have to leave the country quick styles... fo real.
Round trip tickets from here to there are supposedly pretty cheap
Buy a 2 week, or so, Europass which allows you to ride the trains/subways anywhere in Europe.
Paris also has a metropass which allow you to ride the trolly all over Paris
There are youth/student hostiles all over the continent that are way cheaper to stay in than a hotel. Most of your sleeping you can do on the train over night riding into the next country, but showers and stuff you can do at the hostiles.
